Where To Eat For Chinese New Year

In Food on February 3, 2011 at 12:58 pm

February isn’t just a month devoted to Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras. There is another significant holiday happening right now-Chinese New Year. February 3, 2011 is the first day of the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit. And one place that will be celebrating the start of this “Spring Festival” is a restaurant where I’ve been a faithful customer of for over seven years- Fuleen Seafood. After one debaucherous late night a few weeks ago there was a sense of urgency to go to Fuleen. The image of steamed live shrimp and golden Peking duck was dancing in my head. Before we could even sit down we were greeted by my favorite server who eagerly said,” You come to Chinese New Year, we make lots of pork?”. Hell-yeah I’m thinking. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. And neither should you. Ok so this is my third post about Fuleen, and it probably won’t be my last. Nonetheless, I urge you to put down that delivery menu and get your ass to Chinatown’s best for over 20 years.
